Beneficiaries

Here we present in one place the beneficiaries of funding from the Civic Engagement Programme of the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Programme, whose projects were selected for fundung through four calls for proposals. Their proposed community interventions on addressing topics such as sustainable development, service learning, micro-projects (to kick-start local communities), and volunteering received the highest evaluation scores, giving them the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality.

Project “@DObRo bIT – Digital Education and Sustainable Development for Wellbeing in the Digital World”

In the “@DObRo bIT” project, students develop digital, STEM, and social skills while learning about digital sustainability, mental health, and responsible use of technology.

The project aims to contribute to education for sustainable development by promoting political literacy among young people and developing their competences for active participation in the local community.

The project contributes to quality education, climate protection, and sustainable communities, with students participating in the planting and maintenance of pocket forests as an innovative method of environmental conservation.

The project promotes practical learning, civic engagement, and environmental responsibility, empowering young people to make decisions and take initiative through participatory budgeting and mini projects.

It is aimed at strengthening the civic competences of primary and secondary school students through participatory educational practices and local community actions.

The project develops the innovative TRIo program, enhancing secondary school students’ knowledge and green skills for sustainable living in their schools and local communities.

“Music for Environmentally Conscious Ears”

It promotes education for sustainable development through art, with a focus on music, including making instruments from recycled materials and improvising music with plants.

Project “Seeds of Change-ReGeneration”

Students are educated about sustainable development, agriculture, healthy food, social inclusion, equality, and civic activism.

GREEN OSIJEK

Project “OKO MDD – Education for Climate Resilience of the Mura-Drava-Danube Biosphere Reserve”

The project educates secondary school students on climate resilience and implements projects to mitigate climate change in the Mura-Drava-Danube Biosphere Reserve.

Students will participate in education which integrates STEM activities, psychodrama, digital tools, and social-emotional learning, and within the project the EcoBond 008 handbook will also be developed

CEDRA SPLIT CLUSTER FOR ECO-SOCIAL INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Projekt „TERRA NOVA: Technology, Ecology, Recycling, Development, Activism – A New Sustainable Vision for an Active Community“

The project will focus on educational programmes in eco-social entrepreneurship, marine conservation, environmental micro-actions, STEM education, and active citizenship.
